Supervisor Lillian Hoffmier opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance at 7:00 P, M Members present were: Dennis Whittaker, Albert Warner, Jr., Trudy Bentley and Audrey Payne. Also present was Karl Spoonhower, Sup’t. of Hwys. Correction to the February Meeting are: Under Supervisor report—Tom Standard of NYSEG, Controllers Office would like the posting of times for meetings on town website. Fire district and town already are. Motion to approve the minutes with the correction was made by Trudy Bentley seconded by Audrey Payne. Carried. County Legislator—absent. Communications and Petitions None. Reports A. County Planning Board—absent B. Highway Dept—Karl-Bid for Grader repair came in at $29,000.00 Has parts on the bid they aren’t really needed. Beck Equipment will be giving a estimate. Don’t want to wait until next board meeting to get it fixed. If cheaper price from Beck’s—Will finish under Old Business. Prices on rental an excavator are $3200.00/month Beck’s quote. Fema checks coming approved the litigation $79,000.00 Set a cap at $3200.00 on rental of excavator.Motion made by Trudy Bentley seconded by Dennis Whittaker. Carried. C. Code Enforcement—Mike Dopko furnished his report to be filed. D. Planning Board-Jim Lacey-absent. E. Town Clerk—Passed report and the February tax penalty. F. Dog Control- -no dogs to Stay Haven. The Town of Berkshire held their regular meeting on March 20, 2007 in the Town Hall.
