The Public hearing on the Preliminary Budget 2007 was called to ordered at 6:30 PM, by Supevisor Hoffmier.  All board members persent;  Dennis Whittaker, Albert Warner, Jr., Trudy Bentley, and Audrey Payner,  Karl Spoonhower Sup’t of Hwys.  absent.

 

No interested persons spoke against or for the peliminary budget.

 

Motion to close the public heaing at 7:00 PM was done by Trudy Bentley, seconded by Audrey Payne.  Carried.

 

 

 

Reuglar Meeting

November 21, 2006

 

The Supevisor called the regular meeting to order at 7:00 PM.  The Supervisor led the Pledge of Allegiance.

 

All Board members were in attendance.

 

Approval of minutes from Oct. meeting was made by Trudy Bentley seconded by Dennis Whittaker.  Carried.

 

Privilege of the Floor-- R. Russell –says some one took stone from the Stone Pile of the Town’s and lined their driveway.  Will he have to pay or it?  Karl was not here so will have to ask him about it, and the Rats are being a big mess.  Jim Lacey, at Planning Board Meeting said that the Justice and Code Enforement officer have dissused this problem.  What can be done?  Mike Wheeler of the NYS Ecnon name was mentioned.  Lacey stays in the Site Plan Review Osbry owns the bulding and Geo. Decker is buying it.  Lacey is stating from the Site Plan—Lots of othe laws that we have that could offend this property.

Planning Board—Jim Lacey Still down one member want to ask about a board member to come and sit to fill in to make a meeting.  The Town of Maine has writted into law a “OF UNSAFE BUILDING AND  COLLAPSED STRUCTURES: We have gotten copies so we can get organized on it.  County Planning Board is requires each member to take a 4-hour course.

Town Clerk-passed report

Dog Control Officer Nothing 4 calls 1 to Stray Haven

Committee Report—Audrey Payne has done the Supevisor report and left it to be filed.

Supervoisor—Thanks to Dennis Whittaker for his help on the 2007 budget.

Dennis Whittaker has thanked Ron Mc Ewen for his help on the 2007 budget.

 

                                                Old Business

 

Budget 2007.  Motion to pass the budget 2007 as presented was made by Trudy Bentley, seconded by Albert Warner, Jr.   5 Ayes 0 noes.  Carried.

 

                                                New Business

 

Star Admin. —NYS sends money basied on (not sure) but the Assessor got it last year and is looking for it this year.  $485.32.  Dennis Whittaker mades the motion to give it to her.  Trudy Bentley seconded this.  Carried.

NYSEG Plan Selection—Solutions fixed rate is choosed.

Unsafe building law (Maine) covered in planning board meeting.
